This Sunday morning we will be heading up to Langsett Reservoir for a great lap above and along the reservoir and we hope to see you there.
๐ฅพโ๏ธ Given recent weather and that not all of this route is paved we highly recomend being in boots, wellies or something that can handle muddy conditions!
Join us on 29th September, meeting from 8:45 am onwards in the Langsett Flouch Car Park and the walk starting at 9:00 am.
If you are looking to come along then be sure to sign up through the Eventbrite page so we know to expect you.
We will be walking through the woods just north of the reservoir before crossing the Little Don river and heading up onto the hills behind the resrvoir with great views over it. From there we head back down around the far end of the reservoir before crossing across its dam wall and a final walk back up along the reservoir in the edge of the woodlands.
The walk is 7.3 km (4.5 miles) and as usual, you can preview the route through Komoot and ask me any questions you might have about the walk itself. We expect that, depending on the pace of the group, this walk will take 2-3 hours and back for lunch.
There are pubs in the nearby area if anyone wants to do something afterwards so we can discuss and organise anything like that during the walk ๐๐บ
As always, I look forward to seeing you there if you can make it. โ Tom
